Stephanie Poolos Koresaar
Stephanie Poolos Koresaar began her ballet training in the Vaganova method under Marius Zirra, and studied & taught for Larry Rosenberg with Anaheim Ballet. A local San Diegan, she studied ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop locally and in LA, from such greats as Jillana, Pam Thompson, Scott Benson, Angie Bunch, Stan Mazin, Dom Salinero, Buster Brown, Maurice Hines, Michael Rooney, Jaime Rogers, Kenneth Green, Joe Tremaine, Paula Abdul, and many more. She performed a variety of lead roles in Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and others. She performed locally with California Ballet Co., Stage 7, San Diego Ballet, Jazz Unlimited, and Culture Shock. She danced professionally in Los Angeles doing commercials, industrials, movies and TV. She represented I. W. Harper in Japan, was "Dance Moves Barbie" for Mattel in the States and danced in movies and TV such as La Bamba, The Menendez Movie, Renegade and Silk Stalkings. She had lead roles in the full length Broadway version of "42nd Street," and "Meet Me in St. Louis", and "Sea Legs Goes Hollywood," for Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Stephanie holds a California Clear teaching Credential for K-8th Grades, a BA in Fine Arts from U.C. Irvine, and a Master's in Education.
