Intermediate Ballet | Ages 10-13
About the Course
The joy of ballet begins with traditional Russian classes for the intermediate or semi-intermediate dancer. SDAB introduces young children to the fundamentals of classical ballet for those who are age appropriate, but perhaps newer to ballet; focusing on proper body alignment, arm, head and foot placement. Intermediate ballet technique, terminology, and musicality is reinforced for those with some basic ballet training, or helps introduce and support those who are just starting out. High standard, but enjoyable ballet classes for the intermediate dancer exposes children to a class that reinforces integral life skills like creativity, discipline, and team participation—all in an encouraging, supportive, fun, and nurturing environment.
