Foam rolling is really effective and I always feel really flexible after doing it even before I have stretched. Obviously the more you do it, the better you will feel. A strong body and hips for a dancer is imperative if you want results and want to dancer lighter, faster, cleaner. When I worked on my core, and the correct muscles for developpê, which includes a lot of the deep rotators - my balance improved when in these extended poses as well as my height of leg and strength.
